Another remake, this time of the old Tools of the Trade.

One thing that I hated about that one was the perspective, which came out completely wrong. This time around, I actually used a 3D model so it'd be perfect.

Most of the work on this one was on Cinema 4D, with some post work on Photoshop. Hope you like it.

Changed the wall texture, it looks much better now. ;)

This piece is ace, the simplicity of the design and good colour scheme is boss. Topped off the texture is pretty sweet.

I love this one... you don't know how many times I made spray cans when I was doing 3D and got distracted with "work" and never did anything with them... :laughing:

Even if I did it wouldn't have come out this good... fwiw I like the old version too. Nicely done. Must :+fav:!

I have a lot of 3D models laying around that I haven't used either! This one got done because I had an idea to begin with.

I really like the old version too, the only thing that bugged me was the perspective that was kinda off, so I had to revisit it. :nod:

this makes me wanna start messing with 3D again... I had an old project I never got around to doing but when I get a break I might try it now. May have to hit you up for a few tips... I'm sure I'm a little rusty. ;P

Feel free to give me a call if you need any help on your 3D endeavors, I'll gladly share my limited knowledge. =P

I took a long break from 3D modeling, but have revisited it in the last month. It's so different from digital painting. What bothers me the most is not having something to show after a day of work. It's all just a bunch of polygons before you get to complete the damn model! :shakefist:

I still like it a lot, it's just not instantaneous and expressive as painting. It's more of a exercise in patience and perfectionism. :D

I love playing around, setting up a scene and rendering the model. That's my favorite part. Too bad it only comes after days of work. =P
